It also engages in the design, provision, and proprietary trading of foreign exchange, derivative, and structured investment products; venture capital, financial leasing, private equity fund investment and management businesses, as well as sports, cultural and creative industry, and esports businesses; and issuance, sale, marketing, prize claims, and management of lottery. In addition, the company offers domestic non-performing loan (NPL) purchasing, consulting services for NPLs, debt collections and management, funding, securities investment trust, discretionary investment, offshore master agent, and stationed security services. Further, it invests in the real estate and movable property. The company was formerly known as ChinaTrust Financial Holding Co., Ltd. and changed its name to CTBC Financial Holding Co., Ltd. in June 2013.
