Description
The Empresa Nacional de Electricidad (ENDE) is a corporation of the Plurinational State, whose main objective and strategic role is to participate in the entire production chain of the electricity industry and in activities of import and export of electricity in a sustainable manner, with criteria of promotion, social and economic development of the country (Supreme Decree No. 29644, of 16 July 2008). With the nationalization of the companies in the electricity sector, ENDE Corporación has control over the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity.
