The T2Candida panel is a direct-from-blood molecular diagnostic test panel that detects lethal forms of common bloodstream infections, which cause sepsis and candidemia. The T2Bacteria panel is a direct-from-blood molecular diagnostic test panel that detects bacterial pathogens in bloodstream infections. The T2Resistance panel is a direct-from-blood test that identifies carbapenem resistance genes. Additionally, the T2Biothreat is a direct-from-blood molecular diagnostic test panel that runs on the T2Dx Instrument and detects biothreat pathogens. In addition, T2 Biosystems is developing the T2Cauris panel, a direct-from-blood molecular diagnostic test that runs on the T2Dx Instrument and detects Candida auris. The T2Lyme panel is another direct-from-blood molecular diagnostic test panel that runs on the T2Dx Instrument to identify the bacteria that cause Lyme disease. T2 Biosystems, Inc. was incorporated in 2006 and is headquartered in Lexington, Massachusetts.
