Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that develops orally bioavailable small molecule therapeutic products for the treatment of cancer, liver inflammatory diseases, and erectile dysfunction in Israel. The company's lead drug candidate, Piclidenoson, has completed Phase III clinical trials for the treatment of psoriasis. It is also developing Namodenoson, which is in Phase III clinical trials for the treatment of liver cancer, Phase IIa for the treatment of pancreatic cancer, and Phase IIb trials for the treatment of metabolic associated steatohepatitis. Additionally, CF602 is in pre-clinical trials for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. In addition to its drug development efforts, the company is developing a commercial predictive biomarker blood test kit for A3AR. Can-Fite has a license and collaboration agreement with CMS Medical to develop, manufacture, and commercialize Piclidenoson and Namodenoson. It also has a collaboration agreement with Univo Pharmaceuticals to identify and co-develop specific formulations of cannabis components for the treatment of cancer, inflammatory, autoimmune, and metabolic diseases. The company was formerly known as Can-Fite Technologies Ltd. and changed its name to Can-Fite BioPharma Ltd. in January 2001. Can-Fite was incorporated in 1994 and is headquartered in Ramat Gan, Israel.
