Description
Caja Rural de Navarra is a financial entity with the legal form of a Savings and Credit Cooperative Society, and subject to European and Spanish banking regulations and supervision. It was founded in 1910, its origins being linked to the primary sector, although it currently offers universal financial services to its clients. It is registered with the Bank of Spain with registration number 3008. It is part of the Spanish Association of Rural Savings Banks (AECR) and is integrated into the National Union of Credit Cooperatives (UNACC). Caja Rural de Navarra belongs to the Caja Rural Group since its origin in the 1990s. This Group emerged from the national union of different regional cooperative banks that sought synergies and economies of scale. This integration system is based on a federated banking model that allows the autonomy and independence of the Rural Banks that form it to be safeguarded. It does this without having to give up the essential requirement of banking operation and business efficiency, while allowing the savings banks to overcome the limitations derived from their individual dimension and the geographical scope of their activity.
