It is also involved in the wholesale, retail, sale, import, and export of Western and Chinese medicines, medical instruments, pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and healthcare products; and research and development, production, and sale of beverages, food, healthcare products, and other products; and production and sale of pre-packaged food, dairy products, etc., as well as offers herbal tea, tablets, capsules, lozenges, tortoise herb jelly, etc. In addition, the company invests in health industry, such as medical services, health management, health maintenance, elderly care, etc.; and provides leasing and commercial, health, advertising, loading offloading, and warehouse services. It operates through retail chain pharmacy stores and retail stores. The company was formerly known as Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Company Limited and changed its name to Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Company Limited in August 2013.
