Description
Par Health is an independent, private pharmaceutical company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, that specializes in the development and manufacture of generic medicines, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and sterile injectables. Established on November 10, 2025, through a spin-off from Mallinckrodt plc, the company manages a portfolio of approximately 200 products across roughly 80 therapeutic families, including oral solids, liquids, and transdermal patches. With over 4,000 global employees and a vertically integrated network of 10 manufacturing facilities in the United States and India, Par Health is the largest domestic producer of bulk acetaminophen and a top 15 U.S. generic drug manufacturer by volume.
