AZA is the only green steel producer in Chile, with a carbon footprint nine times lower than the industry average: 0.24 tons of CO2 per ton of steel produced under the ISO 14.025 standard. We are the only local steel company with a decarbonization strategy validated by the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTI). 100% of our energy consumption comes from renewable generation sources.
